    put my sand in my tank 24 hours ago and the water has not cleared one bit still a thick milky color

    It will settle, it always does lol. Will just take time. I assume you still have a cycle to go? That will take much longer.

    well i had all my water, in the tank with live rock and 2 chromis for over a month, then finally moved in my new place so chromis went to a friends house till sand setttled,

    what kind of filtration are you running

    what kind of powerheads and are the pointed towards the sand

    i just have a hob filter and Koralia 4 and they are both off

    whatever is the the filter pad itself, i think there is carbon in it
