    i recently took down my 175 watt metal halide t5 ho combo above my 24 gal nano because of the temperature issue...always getting hot... and decided to try and retro fit the halide into the original hood...bad idea... i got it all mounted and wired up and it works fine but it melted the hood and now im looking for a replacement hood...does anyone know where to find a replacement hood or if the 24 gal nano dx hood fits a regular 24 gal nano

    Do you need a retrofit for the halide or just a hood? Fan?

    just the hood.... i just ordered one from jbj for $112 ...it came with more than i needed but good news i got it and the led retro fit kit from rapidled and just got done wiring it all up and it looks amazing

    so if anyone needs the guts from a 24-28 gal nano i have some lol...it has the reflecton 2 pc bulbs and the little leds and mother board that comes with it
