I have a 57g tank, that is 36" wide and 20" tall. I'm planning on soft corals and some LPS, no SPS.

I'm settled on this light, but I am completely lost when it comes to optics and LED colors. I'm assuming I can just go with the standard color scheme. But can you recommend what I should be selecting for the optics options (60, 90, 120) for this kind of set-up? And if there are alternative color options that are pretty common, maybe what those are, pros/cons?

One last question, if using an apex controller, should I select the value light? It doesn't same on the website if this is VDM compatible, just says dimmable. And if I need to go with the controllable fixture, is this compatible to use with the apex.

    Thanks for the help.

None of our fixtures are apex compatable currently. The 24" fixture with our standard layout, and 90 degree optics would work well for your setup.

Hi one more question, can you tell me what the weight (in lbs) is of the 24" controllable unit?

    Thank you
