    going to get my first piece of coral today. This guy has a lot of coral, so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestion on what to get.

    No problem.
    The reason I said shrooms is because they have low light requirements and are hard to kill. ;) They also reproduce easily which is pretty cool.

    WHEN I WAS AT THE PLACE I SAW A PLATE CORAL THAT I REALLY LIKE IS THIS A GOOD CORAL. I ALSO READ THAT IT IS BEST PLACED ON THE SAND IS THAT TRUE.

    Give the mushrooms a day or two, don'y panic.

    A plate coral is not a good starter and MH lighting would be needed in my opinion.
