    I have to say the design is puzzling?? He said he wanted to have it seen by the three homeowners that overlook the sea. Why then do you build it below the ground? If I didn't know better I would want to know what he's smoking? Am I out of line here? Yikes!

    well it is something like a stage.. so you get the view of the ocean, and when you go down you see the tank. I think is a pretty good idea. ( exept why would you build a fish tank that size right next to the ocean when you can just scuba dive? and get an even cooler experience?)

    i agree the concept is weird. i guess ill have to see it when its all said and done.
    if he gets the water clear and has alot of corals and stuff it would be kinda cool

    as far as houses seeing it there was a picture and you could see like three houses that were 3-4 stories tall

    Why not just put the glass panels in the back wall if all your gonna do is local stuff..then the ocean is your aquarium. lol

    I doubt the lawmakers would allow that and the cost could be off the charts if you screw it up and have a tidal type flood.

    I saw this and wondered why someone would do it. Spend all that money you can bet I would be making sure in every way possible it was something people where amazed by. Obviously the clarity of his water needs some attention and I personally dont think the sea water coming in prior to the filter is a good idea. Shouldnt be filter it before it enters the tank?
