125 reef breeders suggestion

So would you use 3 of those or get 2 of the photon 24

 

2 of the photon 24 would be great on your tank. You could also do the 32 inch. That would be even better.

 

Yeah I just can't afford 2 of the 32

 

Depends on if you want the controller or not, 3 value fixtures would defenitly be more power

 

I would like to have the controller but if the 3 can be put on a timer isn't it about the same as a controller I'm just trying to make sure I get the most power and efficiency for the corals

 

Get 2 of the 24's. They are much better built than the non controllable ones. With the 24's, you can set them to rise in intensity at 1/2 hour increments. The 24's would be plenty to cover your tank. I don't think you can go wrong with them.

 

Ok that's what I'm going with as soon as I get the stand built and tank set up I can start a build thread on it thanks for all the help

Daniel072 would you get 90 or 120 optics

 

I would get 90. If they are too tight and you don't get good coverage, you can always take the optics off. Running without optics is very close to running with 120 degree. Mine came with 90 but I have since removed them.
