120 c2c hidden overflow

    standard 120 24x24x48
    3-1" holes cut on rear pane
    c2c overflow with 3/8" horizontal slot
    2-tunze 6200 5000gph with 7095 controller
    2-400w mh mogul 20k
    4-54w t5 blue/purple
    moon lights led are actually blue accent lights from an auto store
    90lbs Tropic Eden Reefflakes Aragonite Sand


    overflow drains:
    2 to the first tank
    1 to the second tank

    first tank:
    2 filter socks
    skimmer sro5000s
    sulfur denitrator
    k2r calcium reactor

    second tank:
    direct feed from main tank and from first tank
    70w mh hqi 6500k
    4-24w t5 blue/purple
    chaeto

    third tank:
    alot of rock (cryptic zone)
    reef relief ato with ro/di
    main pump iwaki wmd-30rlt 600gph

    chiller:
    1/4 hp aqua euro

    tanks at the end of the cycling process, used a mixture of clam, shrimp, tuna, mollusk, oyster, and crab. all rock was bleached to get rid of any unwanted pests.
    nh3 0, no2 0, no3 10-20. still need to tighten up all the electrical lines and make the canopy. all lighting on timers.

    added a 6"x19" sulfur denitrator with 7 cups sulfer and 10 cups matrix. was a kalwasswer, so it has a recirc pump in it. been up n running for a day and the effluents nitrates are little lower already but not zero. normally it takes about 3wks for the anaerobic bacteria to kick in.

    clams:

    1 maxima ultra blue/turquoise clam
    1 derasa clam

    critters:

    10 super tongan nassarius snail
    20 cerith snails
    1 fighting conch
    20 asteria snail
    2 peppermint shrimp
    20 blue hermit crab

    fish feed couple times a day with flake food, brine and mysis shrimp. every other day the filter bags are pulled out and the skimmer top is taken off to feed pappone method.

    pappone recipe:

    5 clams
    5 oysters
    5 mollusks
    5 scallops
    5 shrimp
    1 cup ro/di water
    1 T raw sugar
    10 g seaweed

    blend for 10 minutes, freeze.

    i also do a 5 gallon water change weekly.
