i have been out of the hobby for almost 2 yrs and have been itching to get back in. my wife has been asking me to build her a built-in storage area in our kids playroom and so i had an idea to incorporate the tank into that. did a quick sketch and she approved [IMG] i should have plenty of room underneath for sump/reactors and other stuff i havent decided on. ill be making my purchases soon and starting

    equipment list:
    Mr Aqua 12L
    20L sump
    syncra sicce 3.5 return pump
current usa orbit marine pro LED light
    tunze nano ATO
    Pukani dry rock

got my cool custom made 20L sump filter sock kit...i just have live rock and skimmer down there along with the return pump and tunze ato.

i have done some more work on the system, painted the stand, finished the sump, plumbed everything up and water tested. no leaks and ready to cycle...i put in Dr Tims One and Only Bacteria and petco gave me a free damsel fish to cycle. now before someone gets mad, it was a free fish because it is missing a back and right fin and eyeball...it was being picked on and was going to die anyways [IMG]
i made covers for the pipes and still need to finish making the cabinet doors, trim and finish painting. lots to do still....my current usa orbit marine pro will be here tomorrow and ill add sand to the tank this weekend.

i left that pvc long in the front because i still need to add another reactor...forgot to buy another T connecter

my Current USA Orbit Marine Pro came in! im diggin this light...it has 60 degree optics so there is zero light spread over my tank (which i love) and is pretty strong light. ill tinker with it a few days and give my review on it.

Awesome engineering. Make sure that guy with the pole doesn't catch to many fish. Lol

Really clean design. Are you planning on coral or just fish?
