    I've heard seaclone skimmers are crap?!?! are these like an entry level skimmer?
    I've seen ways to mod them

    I got a seaclone for free, the LFS screwed up my order and a fish I had prepaid for died so I got a full refund and a seaclone on top of it. I definently wouldn't pay for it!
    going to upgrade very soon!

    I have personally never used the SeaClone, but they are bad. When I was shopping for tanks I visited one dudes house and he was all proud of his 55 gallon setup. Everything looked sick. He said he was going all out and had a SeaClone skimmer. I looked at it and the thing looks like a toy, and had no skimmate to speak of in the cup or even in the neck. It was fizzing like a can of soda. Supposedly had been running for weeks.

    Seaclone skimmers are junk, but who ya gonna sue, they're made in China? People just don't care anymore. Bottom line is what is least expensive(is usually junk) and greed.

    these things are garbage and the fact that every fish store has them in abondence is amazing..lol. that's why so many people buy them.

    nor would I, after having it run for 2.5 weeks now it's only filled the collection cup half way. 140?? holy crap. it was 99.99 at my LFS.....haha free for me!!!

    nothign wrong with a crappy FREE skimmer though.....lol

    could use it as a flower vase!!!
