10k - white or yellow?

    What color should a 10k light look? Yellowish or whitish

    Should look more white than yellow although some manufacturers will vary. It also has an apparent difference based on ther bulbs nearby. If you have blue bulbs around it it will look yellowish.

    Well I bought a Plusrite 10k 175 w and it is a little bit yellower than I think it should be but I don't know anything about. That bulb

    I have seen some 10K bulbs that show an appearance of bright white while others are very yellow. The color will depend on the bulb manufacturer and/or your ballast whether if it is an electronic or magnetic ballast.
