I was just browsing ebay looking at led fixtures and saw a radion with an opening bid of $9.50,so there has to be a catch. This is for a new unopened unit. What is needed besides the fixture for it to be operable?Do you need a controller, power source, ect.?

Opening bid is just that, it's a bid. It will go up.

for that reason i dont sell/buy from ebay. What always happens is the price stays down until last hour or so, then it goes up and within the last minute it sky rockets. HOWEVER never hurts to put a bid on them!

Entices people to big on it by setting it low. It catches people's eyes. Like was noted, people will add it to their watch list and and the price will sky rocket as the deadline approaches. Really no sense in wasting time with it. It's almost impossible to win things that are in such high demand with such a low starting bid.

ALWAYS worth a bid. I used to bid on a local coral sellers auctions and won quite a few at .99 that were worth much more.
