i feed my blenny and clownfish live brine shrimps but i keep wasting them cause they dont get to live long in a separate small freshwater tank. but i noticed that some shrimps that got sucked out by the overflow and are now trapped in the sponge filter fibres are still alive, unable to swim, after 3 days. how can i keep a stack of them alive to maximize their usage? should i dump all of them in the tank? i fear of them all dying and causing ammonia spikes.

Hi Kyanese - I used to hatch them for feeding baby fish, in a upturned water bottle with air stone - I used salt water

I used to transfer them to a 1 litre plastic handled jug and I found providing you did not overcrowd them - I could feed for 3 days consecutive out of this pan - I did add liquid food stuff (Liquifry for egg layers actually)
