I have a Hoeven's wrasse in my 500g and he was the last fish I have added(29 total) and no problems at all.
Go w/ the biggest you can afford(after researching all the cost that go w/ upkeep) because you'll look back and say "I wish I had got a bigger tank."

Love the coloration of the fish but I believe its a possible jumper so be prepared to screen in the top if you decide to get it.
