Zebra Mantis Shrimp (Lysiosquillina maculata)

Mantis shrimps generally fall into two categories: smashers, and spearers. The Zebra mantis (Lysiosquillina maculata) is a spearer. It catches its food by spearing them. It can grow to the relatively large size of 15.75" and are generally easy to keep in captivity.
