It can take a few days for your coral to open up when you introduce it to a new tank. Its a new environment with different lights, possibly different temp. And sg.

Did you actlimate it correctly? Dip it? Sometimes takes a couple days to get comfortable.
Maybe move to side of tank so lights aren't that strong

That red/brown puke is zoathela (never know how to spell this word- the algaes grow in coral) normally- so probably have more light than original tank or just a bit of shock (temp, ph, salinity, you name it). But is normal for new zoas to be closed for few days. Beware of zoa parasites thou - if there are such will not open.
Zoas can handle easily fresh water dips, so whatever you made to aclimate them is ok. Normally i drop zoas from shop bag to fresh ro water for 10 minutes and then in tank- no acclimatization at all. And all are happy next day.

how are the zoas doing now that they have been in your tank a few days? Normally, softies can take a few days to a week before they open. Most LFS will have zoanthids in a really low flow tank, so just keep that in mind as you transfer them to your tank. If they are in an area of higher flow (in your tank), it might take a little while for them to acclimate to your system.

3 to 4 polyps have opened up fully, rest are still the same.

    1) I am assuming tank parameters are all checked out and OK?
    2) Did you happen to dip them before adding the zoas to your tank?
    3) Do you see any pests or algae on the zoa frag? If not, leave the frag in your tank for a few more days and try to let them acclimate to your flow, lighting etc. If this does not resolve the issue, I would considering dipping your zoas. Even if you cannot see any pest or algae or anything, the dip will help give the polyps a boost to fight off any superficial algae growing, as well as combat fungal, bacterial, or viral infections. Additionally, it will help kill or identify a larger issue such as irritating pest (zoa nudibranchs, spiders, worms, etc.)
