What kind of algae?

    Any ideas on what this is? I've been trying to find an id but cant find anything that looks like it. It isn't out of control but I want to get rid of it as soon as I can.

    I just tested my water with API test kits
    Nitrate:0
    Phosphate:0
    I run Chemipure Blue in a reactor and only use RODI water

    Looks like Caulerpa verticillata or fuzzy caulerpa.Does it have runners??

    I did a google search and it looks like that's what it is. I see some extra water changes and rock scrubbing in my very near future.

    Anytime.Good luck.Caluerpa can be very hard to remove.Try pulling it rather then scrubbing it.;)
