    I froze or dried (guess this would take a little more reading) my grape caluerpa I harvest for nutrient export and then blend it with the nori when i make my bi-monthly fish food? thoughts? risks? pros and cons, general laughter and pointing......

    it would bring little to no nutritional value? or would just be a pita to do?

    As you know fresh is better. Since vey few fish eat caluerpa it may make the food less tasty or worse it could be dangerous for some fish to ingest.:undecided:

    Don't think it's worth the risk. Your better off just using some high quality nori. Good thinking though

    was hoping it would add further variety to the diet, it just kinda bums me out to have to regularly throw it out :s. iv tried throwing a couple "branches" in and my blue tang seems to appreciate the grapes and thin roots but doesnt really feast on it, my yellow tang ignores it as a whole....

    Steep it in water and use it as fertilizer.Your plants will love it. If you have any lol.
