Well anyone who thinks forums such as 3reef are a waste of time I have to say. They are a fantastic way to meet like minded and truly great people.Circumstances beyond my control forced me to do the unthinkable; get rid of the animals I truly love.Luckily I had Dennis who drove nearly 3 hours to give them a great home.It was far easier for me to part with Sparky, Herbie, and my beloved corals, knowing they were going to a person who like myself loves and respects the animals in their care.I just wanted to say thank you Dennis from the bottom of my heart. It was wonderful to finally meet you, your lovely Wife, and beautiful Daughter. You have also confirmed that even though it may be frustrating at times helping strangers the upside is very bright indeed.I wish you the best of luck and I hope my little friends bring you the joy you so deserve. I also want to thank 3reef for the platform to find such a friend. While this place may not be what it used to be.I am sure the info in this database will continue to help lots of people find the happiness only a successful tank can bring.I will continue to try and help as many people succeed as I can and I hope 3reef can return to its former glory very soon.
    Warmest Regards,
    Uncle Vinny

Vinny sorry to see you are getting out. Wife and I recently started back after a 6 year break.
One of the first fish we added were 3 hancock blennies. I was so inspired by your Herbie, had to have some. They have taken residence in small holes in the rocks and completely ignore the barnacles but we love them anyway. When I get home from work and look at the tank, I start calling out "1 blenny head", "2 blenny heads", "3 blenny heads"... yep all 3 there smiling at me.

Good luck in your ventures. You were a valuable member of this of this forum.

Thank you for the kind words vinny. It was well worth the drive to meet you and rehome your animals in our reef tank. We had a great time and I'm very thankful we got a chance to talk. I'm humbled that you thought of me and trust me with the care of your loved pets, it's an honor. You've been a great teacher over the years and thanks to 3reef we can share our experiences with other reefers to help them succeed, it's truly a great experience. Thanks again vinny for everything. Well see if our little one will do another hammertime dance when our paths cross again. Lol

Thank you Vinny, it was nice to finally meet you and Esme had a blast with her uncle Vinny ! We love the new additions to our reef and they are already eating like little piggies lol. We hope you have a nice and easy move and look forward to seeing your future tank when you set it up again. Take care!

Here's a little update vinny. Fish are still very shy but eating very well, they love the variety of foods I feed the tank. Corals are doing great with no signs of bleaching. They love the fish eggs and LRS food. There looking good. 20170430_154432.jpg 20170430_154341.jpg 20170430_154348.jpg

Someone finally made an appearance and is out all the time now. Pics don't do this little guy justice. The most electric blue I've ever seen. 20170506_183528.jpg
