Just wanted to update-all is well!! I got everything squared away, a few of my corals bounced back-didn't lose any fish. I've started adding corals back to the tank, I've noticed pineapple sponges popping up EVERYWHERE, copipods are back, fish are bright and hungry, zoo's are spreading again-I'm happy-fish are happy, guess I gotta keep on top of it more than I was. Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for everyone chipping in and getting me up and running!!

I had a similar issue last year, I ato with RODI water, went away for 3 weeks, when I came back all my corals were dead/dying, the RODI water was thought my 6 stage filter, and had stripped out all minerals, for a gallon in the am and a gallon in the pm equals 40+ gallons of totally pure water, with no calcium, or an other minerals, I lost everything.

Was a lesson that I learned the hard way.

Do you check your mineral levels every couple of days ?
I thought I was safe, because previously I would "top up" using a tap filter, this filter allowed certain minerals etc through, and I tested frequently, using the RODI I got complacent and thought I was safe.

Took me about 2 weeks to settle the tank.
