ok well i saw guys in a store who painted their pvc plumbing black with plastic paint and said it was safe they'd used it before and they gave me the brand and it worked fine on mine as well. I had a flex tubing that i have going from one thank to another that was white and didn't really match so i painted it. However if the pvc dried the flex is totally sticky; some say its the primer, anyway lots of theories, anybody have an answer on how to fix this. I've already tried vinegar like some have suggest no effect if only to remove part of the paint actually.
    Thanks for your suggestion guys.

What kind of paint was it?
I often use de natured alcohol to remove acrylic and latex paint. Melts the stuff right off and doesn't have the stank and greasy feel of some other solvents. Very clean afterwards.
    denatured alcohol - Google Search

The plastic may be different than the plastic they used. How easy is it to replace the tubing? I think if go with that if possible so you don't introduce more chemicals.

I can tell you krylon is very tough paint. Will likely need very strong solvent like lacquer thinner if it is fully cured. Alcohol may work but again, chemicals.

The idea is to remove only the primer or to stop it from sticking not to remove the paint , i want it black if possible. But if not, i'll use my second unpainted flex to replace it.

Are you painting rigid PVC pipe, flex PVC, or flexible vinyl tubing (hose)?

If it's normal vinyl hose, just replace it with black hose.
