    rip. to the last sps I'm going to try in my tank. not sure why they don't do all the numbers appear to be on, maybe coral warfare. not sure just not worth killing them or the worries of chasing numbers to me for a little extra color in my tank.:confused:

    well if it was coral warfare, a good amount of Activated carbon should do the trick.

    Maybe they dont have enough flow/light?

    I managed to kill one of my monti cap by pressing on it while trying to glue it down with epoxy (( haha NOoby mistake))

    I wouldnt give up.. Just get cheap easy SPS unil you get the hang of that one and then move to the next and so on.

    I began with a monti, and now i am at a green bird's nest :p

    how long does it last in the tank and is it dying after a water change or something?

    looks grate for 2 weeks and then dies in about 3 days with out any changes made to the tank
    cal is a little high at 500 and have never dosed for it ever in 3 years
    alk 9 dose all the time to keep it there
    nitrate 0
    nitrite 0
    amoina 0
    phophate 0
    mag low at 1100.... raising it slowly
    and ph wont ever stay up7.9 to 8.2

    Just from that description, sounds like a lack of flow.
