I just saw this thread, that sucks Larz. I've Been on the receiving end of some bad shipments of things non-fish related in the past that really impacted me. Hopefully Vivid had their packages insured with FedEx, and they'll replace it at no cost to them or you. I'm sure you're not the only one with troubles because of this storm. Hopefully 3rd times the charm.

    O.K.

    Third times a charm, right?

    Yes!!

FedEx delivered this AM and I am acclimating everything right now before I have to go to work.

Shaun @ Vivid Aquariums is awesome ... he really came through ... even when I was about to give up.
He called every time an order was ready, to schedule a shipping date and answered every email immediately.
I would say they really stand behind their product.
I would recommend them if you are looking to order online.

    Pics later tonight .... ;D

Im glad to hear everything worked out alright for you. I have ordered online before but I always do it when its cold and snowing half the time here. never thought that would be a problem in Texas tho.

That's too bad, but I'm glad Vivid came through for you. I've ordered from them many times and think they're the best. The weather last week was horrible. It was supposed to "rain" here, but started pouring snow, messed up the roads, stranded people trying to get home, tons of wrecks, etc. I hate it for the poor fish and corals that didn't make it. :(

While I hate FedEx more than most, I don't believe it was their mistake. Not when snow is known in the forecast. Without the snow, they delivered their packages on time. Unless I'm missing something in the post...

Glad to hear everything worked out. Good luck with your new little guys and hope everything goes well.
