I ordered from Vivid Aquariums and had them ship for Saturday delivery.

Well, I got an order a few minutes ago, but it is not mine ....
completely different. I assume they got the orders mixed up.

Anyway, I have called and emailed them, but they do not open for business for three more hours.

I am sure they will correct the problem, so I am not worried about that at the moment.

What should I do with the fish I received ... I do not want to stress them anymore than they already have been with the shipping.

Should I float them in my tank to warm them up or leave them in the shipping package?

hmmm tricky question... I would not introduce them but I also would suspect that they are not going to ask for return shipping since its their error?

just going to have to wait the extra three hours

Yes get them floating ASAP. Can you get them acclimating even if it was in a rubbermaid container. Do you have a QT Tank they could stay in for a day or so.

My guess is Vivid is not going to have you ship the fish back because of cost and the stress. So I would prep for finding a home for them

I would keep everything packed back up till you can contact them. The fish will be fine a few more hours the way they are packed. Some places dont even get the fish delivered for another 2-5 hours.

Keep the fish and enjoy it. If anything else you can get a credit at your lfs if you decide not to keep it.

    3-Purple firefish
    1-occilaris
    2-cleaner shrimp
    20-nassarius snails
    20-astrea snails
    20-turbo snails
    1-purple? monti frag (I think)

I do not have a QT set up.
I do have a 5 gallon acrylic hex, bio wheel filter and an extra heater.
Think I could make that work?

Looks like I will just wait a couple of hours for them to contact me .... if I don't hear back soon after they open I'll start acclimating.

I wonder who got my order????

All of those are reef safe, I think you should just put them in your tank and consider it a freebie. They would not expect you to ship them back. No point in risking them all dying.
