So, I got this as a little "accident frag" from a friend. I plopped it up on this rock and it's turned into this. I have no idea what it is, but it looks cool, so I am happy!

Thanks! This guy sits there almost unnoticed half the time. I was oogling last night and was like, "whoa, who's been growing up without my approval?". (Who believes I talk to my tank?)

anyway, here is pic from june, shortly after I got the little fella.

Yup, sure is! It encrusted for a long time. I wonder if it was due to the round end of the rock I had there... but then it started poking up and it has grown really cool.

Haha, yeah... funny that I said that. I got called out for talking to my tank at lunch. I could only find one of the firefish, so I was asking the other where his better half is... yeah... he didn't answer me, but they answered food! haha!

Let's add some more. This first one was a frag from the man, myth and legend, Mr. Sails. I got it as a stick glued vertical, it was happy and encrusted onto the plug. Then one day I hit the frag and the top came off and went somewhere behind the rocks. DOH! Well, I left the plug, there was still life on there.

    Has turned into this!

And here is a smoothskin acro I got earlier this year. I don't know it's name, it's mainly green but we're getting the shadow view

And last but certainly not least this long haired redhead! this is some of the nuttiest PE I've ever seen in my tank.

This was taken back in june after I first got the frag.

    +1 Agreed!!

I need to know what you are doing. The growth you have from 6 months is excellent!

Nothing special... nothing that is much different than anyone else. haha! For the longest time, I thought my corals were all broken...

well, crap, now you have me thinking. I did add a kalk reactor sometime in the past year. That definitely could add some growth power. I also feel that I feed a lot. I use acropower aminos mixed with reef chili/coral frenzy, New Era flakes and pellets. For a while I spot fed, lately it's been all about the broadcast... Does it make a difference? probably... will I ever know? probably not! haha

The other thing that I had been doing and recently have changed is water changes. Ever since the dinos showed up, I stopped all water changes. I did a small one about 2 months ago and a larger one this past weekend. Now, I was still dosing kalk, except for when my mixing pump impeller broke. grr

    Hmmm so you're using acropower.

I hear only good things about it, not a snake oil product. People say they notice color improvement with improved PE after a week or two.
