It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    That is cool Mike.

Got to be a selling point to clowns already residing in an anemone somewhere.

Pickle's Clowns already hosted . You get the idea. People often complain because their clowns will not try their anemones.

"Tenderly raised in the tentacles of an anemone".

Thanks - I spend more time watching that tank and seeing the babies interact with the nems is so cool.

Thanks - that tank went up pretty quickly - I plumbed it into my new brood stock tank.

It's funny because I sold a pair to a local guy who blasted me online because supposedly I had "bred all the natural instinct out of my clowns"

He essentially accused me of inbreeding the clowns so far down that they had no concept of a host. What's funny is I haven't been at it long enough to raise an offspring to breeding maturity to have had the opportunity to inbreed. Everyone who KNOWS me -know that I don't see a need to inbreed and won't do it.

Bottom line is Clowns are clowns - in that hatch with those nems there are a couple hundred clowns and only about half of them are showing interest in the nems - some just don't care - So even in the same hatch you'll find clowns that have a tendancy to accept a host and others that are just more prone to host the side of a clay pot. The only advantage to these guys is some of them will have already seen a nem and know what to do the moment they hit your tank. For the rest it may take a little longer for them to discover the joys of a nem.

I pop on the site every few days - just to stay caught up. I just don't speak up as much as - you guys seem to have things under control! ;D

I will have some in the next few weeks / month that will be ready to go depending on your set up. At 1" these guy are still pretty small and you don't want to lose one to an overflow or anything like that.

Once they are closer to size I can post video and you can pick out what you want. We'd just have to work out the delivery / pick up. It's a long drive.

OK... here is an update on my grow out room build:

    I built the room inside our shed. I guess it's a large shed - 30 x 40:

And when I started it looked something like this in corner I was building in:

As you can see I haven't put much effort into the exterior yet. But is all 2X4 construction with a 1/2 thick plywood roof so I can store some things above it:

Here is the inside... I didn't choose the color - I just went cheap and combined whatever exterior miss tint paints they had marked on clearance at Lowes... I think it worked out pretty well:

And here is the view from the back of the room towards the door:

I ran three separate lines of electrical in the room so it can handle just about anything I want to do inside. This week I'm going to start on plumbing. I'll be picking up my 100 gallon black tubs and plumbing them into my old sump which was the base of my old grow out system in the house:

I'm further along now - It's cycling - just need to get some more pics.
