New fish quarantine system detail..

Patience is the key. Sometimes less is more.

I have never quarantined, its a choice I made. I have never pre medicated.

I've lost 2 fish to disease out of 4 reef tanks.

 

Ya im not adding any fish till july. yes im gona setup 2 qt, 1 for inverts and 1 for fishes. Also i wonder why wud vivid aquarium guy and few other well known guys advice on dosing qt tanks with meds... another problem was crazy leakage of live current that was there in my tank.. i guess that too caused the stress. My corals are doing fantastic though and so are my shrimps. Also im seeing lots of pods too, so i guess as there is not gona be any fish till july 10th, they shud explode..

 

Its a store thats why they advised it.
Its a common business practice, you're there buying stuff and they tell you, you need such and such...its called upselling.

Same reason why LFS advises you can't do a reef in a 10g...because a 100g tank makes more $$$
