New addition but no footing?

Just got me a toadstool leather off a m8, only it was not attached to anything, i got it home and acclimated it for a couple of hours, it would not wedge between the rocks anywhere so i slipped it in the hole of a rock, see pic, will it be ok like this will it stick itself to the rock can it move itself and its been there now for 24 hours?

 

whats m8? as long as your tanks up to par your leather should be fine, arguably one of the hardiest species for the home aquarium.

That should be a great spot for it. it will quickly attach on it's own

The leather will eventually grow around the rock.

 

Thanks, i'm just a bit concered it wobbles a bit because there is a powerhead behind it not blasting at it but just enough for a constant wobble?

Today was the fifth day the toadstoll had been in the tank, still not opened up, so i turned the powerhead off for a while, and it stated to grow, looks much more better now and all the pointy things are sticking up, i thought they liked good flow?

 

if your leather isn't attached it will get upset with the flow. This is because it's tryin to attach itself and getting disturbed. Once attached you can give them lots of flow and they love it. this is due to the mucus that builds up on their body. I would leave the ph off for a while and blow it off every now and then with a turkey baster untill it attaches
