mystery Algae

hello everyone,

this algae is starting to grow in my DT, and it seems that none of the clean up crew wants to touch it. do anyone knows what kind of algae this is? and how to get rid of it?

 

Looks like a type of Chaetomorpha, there is more than one type.

 

So I looked at the Chaetomorphas and I am doubtful. Check out the thread below dog, it might help nail down the ID, and it's a site to bookmark.

i did find out that Spotted scat love this stuff. i got 2 on sat and they cleaned house. just in case anyone else has this problem

 

I love scats! I have never seen them available at any local LFSs
