I'm really new to most everything, but my tank is healthy, and so are my two clowns I recently purchased along with a bta.

She won't leave the poor guy alone, I think she gets a kick out of him twitching!

She also is getting black dots, possible sting marks from the nem? Only she has it, she's spent most time in it.
Time will tell. But she has a natural big dot on her anal fin.

And no they were not paired, randomly picked the female and a healthy looking fellow out of a tank of probably 30. It's neat to see them start to really bond!

Theyre afraid to go in the nem because it kept stinging them. But they don't leave eachothers side.. Although they really can't in a 29g cube..

She's been nipping at him more.. And he twitches more.. When does this stop? I don't mind, I'm just curious.

If their not wild clowns they need to build up the mucus for which they need to live in the nem. They'll go backk in again.
