My clowns just laid eggs

    Hi Moray Yah I'm not expecting them to make it. Even if I moved them out of the main tank I still don't have anything to feed them.................... John

    Great shot.

    You could alway add a piece of clay pot to the spot they laid for next time. This would allow you to lift it out. But then you would need to raise them. I've heard it's not a lot of work but they need space and really good water.

    That is a good idea Jason but the two times they laid eggs they have laid them in different places :-/

    thats cool, my clowns (gobies :) ) r laying eggs like crazy, they lay, week later they hatch, 2 days later more eggs lol...they r so cute cuz they r agressive toward my gian rock blenny...its funny, they r like 1 in and hes like 6 ha ha ha

    Next time they lay eggs you might try some liquid fry for egg layers. I had a freind who raised clown fish fry on this stuff. I think thatfishplace.com sells it.

    Bruce My Clown Gobies are also laying eggs No as often as yours but it is funny watching those little shits chase away fish a lot bigger than them. They also chase away my cleaner shrimp LOL they are so funny ;D ;)

    I'm not sure whats in it, but its called Liquifry No. 1  for egglayers.  You can also use kent marines PhytoPlex which contains Marine Phytoplankton which is 2-15 microns in size. petsolutions.com also sells it besides thatfishplace.com
