heres a review i did a few months back when i first got the book.(copy&paste)

Knops book is good and im not throwing my copy away any time soon but this new book covers thing that Knops book never touched. also this new book is 10 years newer and includes alot of scientific data that just wasn't available when Knop wrote his book.

if you dont know who James Fatherree is go here James W. Fatherree, M.Sc.

and if you want to see some of the photos from the book go here

    Ditto,
Daniel Knop's Clam book is without exception one of the nicer books on Tridacna's, however their is so much data and topics that are recently been touched on that weren't realised back when Danile wrote his book. Always updated material to update our live stock and make us more successful in our quest for the most beautiful and sought after tank!
