salinity is 1.022, that sounds low to me, also it could be unmixed salt.

Well, I guess I will wait till tomorrow.

I plan on raising the salt level as someone said it seems low.
I will reduce the water changes to once every two weeks
And I will mix the salt for longer than 10 hours

Thanks to everyone for their help.

The water changes are easy as I have a 55 gallon drum with a pump in it that I use to pump the water into the tank. I than have another hose hooked into the sump where the water drains out. All I have to do is turn the pump on and that's it.

I dont think its the time you mixed the salt but the type of salt to me, if its a fish only tank the salinity is not that serious alot of people run it that low.

as far as the mucas coat or slime I have no idea the salt seems like it is the major problem here. HTH

I do water changes monthly.. sometimes even every 3 months or so. Every two weeks seems a bit overkill to me:)

You could raise your salinity up to 1.024-1.025. Usually when you see "snow" is more than likely Calcium precipitation, so try to check your calcium levels if you can.
PH should be somewhere around 8.2-8.4, yours is a little high.
