    New Job.....

Well, as many of you may know, I have gotton out of retail pharmacy and into institutional pharmacy. Now, I work for the State of Washington at the Shelton Correctional Facility for Men. A maximum security prison.

I just completed my first week there. Comparitively, it is much, much better than the old gig. I walked out of there today feeling very, very good. No stress. Not competely wiped out. Felt great. At the old job, I would be burned out on the second day of five.....probably half way through. Then it was all about making it the next three days to the weekend.

So......Just a cool thing to write down and tell ya'll about. The pay is less. A lot less. But I don't care. I will figure it out. There is NO way I am giving up this position. No way. ;D;D;D;D

This thread is still going? My god!
Anyways, as I said before, congrats on the job John. Now, about the pay. I am sure you could more than make up for that by "creatively" smuggling in cigarettes and stuff. Oh, and try not to get slimed.

LOL!! Yup this thread kind of ended up one that consists of cool things that happen to people. I would have to look at the beginning and see how it started.....I think it was me fixing a toilet.

And we were warned of the consequences of just accidently bringing in contraband. There is a whole list of things that, even we, are not allowed to bring in. I had to get state clearance just to get past the first set of gates. This place is no joke. I have been told repeatedly Don't forget where you are. I won't.

Do we have any famous inmates there? I mean, there's got to be some senators, congressmen, and some Redskins players staying there.
