I think my wrasse got sucked into the skimmer

lol thanks. i'll be going to the lfs this weekend hopefully ill be able to find something i like weather its more coral or another fish

 

coral doesnt get sucked up into intake tubes... *hinthint*

you could use a gorgeous bright red or purple monti cap right in the middle of your tank

 

i could i hope lfs has a good selection of corals

 

yeah, more coral always cures my blues.. my tank is seriously like therapy some days.. for example today was not a good day in the beginning, but when I came home and sat in front of mine for a while and playing with stuff in my sump, my day brightened a lot..

 

sooo true definitely very relaxing weather its doing maintenance or just staring at the thing

 

I dont know what your skimmer pump intake looks like, but the intake on my maxi jet 1200 that feeds my skimmer...there is NO WAY a fish can get sucked into that thing, not to mention plastic impellar blades, and the pump motor itself would just lock up for a fish that size. I see no possible way that wrasscal got sucked into the skimmer...and if he did you would have find him IN the skimmer. Im staying on the positive side and saying he is still alive.

BTW PC, I got a beautiful six line last week. thanks for all the posts about wrasses, now I got one lol

 

still hoping that he's alive but i think the chances are very slim.

And congrats on the new wrasse wrasses are one of my favorite fish
