Urgent Help with white/purple tip anemone

Can anyone help, my white/purple tip anemone looks like it's turning inside out, I've had it about a week and it's been absolutely fine until this morning, there are no traces of nitrates and all other readings were perfect too.
I'm assuming this isn't normal so is there anything I need to do urgently I.e get it out my tank or can I help it.

anemones are nearly made up entirely of water. an anemone cant simply keep the same water in its body all the time so that is what your anemone looks to be doing. ridding itself of the old water and refilling with fresh.

Do you have a current SG value?

Looking at the image it appears you do have a water quality issue based on the amount of cyanobacteria in the sand surrounding the anemones. You might have a flow problem as well.

What lighting type please?

Is the anemone attached?

 

Aww brilliant, so from looking at the picture you don't think there's cause for concern ?

 

I took a water sample to my local aquarium shop just before I bought the anemone and it was where it should be.
The lights are blue and white T5.
I was suppose to clean the tank today but hadn't wanted to with the anemone doing what it has, what do u suggest I do?

The anemone looks like toast to me. I have never had once expel all it's mesenterial filaments before. The fact that is not attached is a bad sign as well.

Personally I would remove it if it continues to look like that in a couple hours. Next you should buy your own test kits, you'll be better able to manage future tank issues and save money in the long run.

You should not have to clean that much cyanobacteria off the sand bed. You need to look into more flow, test for phosphates, use only RO water for top off and water changes. If water quality is not an issue the cyanbacteria will not get so out of hand.

Do you have a refractometer or hydrometer?

Ok so just a heads up, just wanted to let you all know the anemone died, but I think you already knew that would happen. Thanks again for the quick advice, and I thought I'd post u a pic of my nice clean tank (minus the anemone that died)
