    hey, the very first pic in this thread, what exactly is that above the hammer? i got a nem attached to a rock that looks just like it but i have no idea what it is.

    That is a Torch coral, a Euphyllia just like the Hammer.

    Wow this tank is great!!!!
    I've never seen a torch coral with such skinny tenticles though.

    Yep it's a torch, I was told it was galaxia, but then confirmed that it was a torch. It's very aggressive, and very beautiful.

    That's how mine looks :confused: I think "fatter" tentacles can mean it is not getting enough light. But I could be way off.

    Final update - Hammer is now completely healthy! In fact it is so healthy that is complety overtaking the entire tank (as in killing everything it can reach) I had to buy a new tank just to give everything their own space. I'll post a picture a little later.
