My hammer coral was doing great but one night something. Ate part of the base where its glued to a rock I think it was my emerald crab. It ate one of my red shrooms so I think it is what did it and now my hammer wont come out like it was will it heal?

If he has food to eat, then he'll usually leave corals alone. Do you have algae in your tank for him to eat?

The hammer should recover as long it wasn't eaten to much & he leaves it alone. If it came down to my corals or crab, then the crab would be removed from Dt.

Think my hammer just got tested out as food source too. Decided to quarantine it b/c my snails and hermits haven't been leaving it along.

If it's really being eaten, either feed your tank so more or protect the coral so that it can safely recover.
