Sitting on Jury Duty Yesterday, Had a chance to read a Book that I checked out from our local reef club...... Marine Aquarist Roundtable of Sacramento, or "MARS"...plug ! : )
The Book is "Book of Coral Propagation", by Anthony Calfo...printed 2007.
Wow, this book was /is great...still have about a 1/4 left...starts out kind of dry, but soon gets into just about everything you need to know...many questions answered..I will return this and purchase one for my own library.
This is a must read for the novice and minimally an interesting read for the pro....and at the least, a nice reference source for any aquarist.
    jmo...thought I'd share.8)

    Agree'd it's an excellent book. :)

I read all that I can from find from any of the "pioneers". B. Fenner, J. Sprung, A. Calfo, E.H. Borneman, S. Michael. etc. etc.

If a person can't afford them, especially books by Anthony Calfo, Julian Sprung and Bob Fenner you should borrow them or see if your library carries some.

Big plus on that !...the 'Library"...dang, endangered species....I felt like a dinosaur, actually turning pages...tablets, kindles, smart phones etc....not saying I do not use and enjoy these devices (blazing tunes while reading on my Galaxy S)... BUT...let's not forget books.... 8)

I recently bought this on sale and also highly recommend it. It is a book that should be read cover to cover since it has so much detailed information that I have not found elsewhere on the internet. It will take a while but even if you just read 15 minutes a night you will thank yourself for taking the time. It is a great reference book to look up something new to you that you want to try but first read the whole thing.
