    After comparing pics I don't think I have a green tort. Polyp and corallite structure is different between the two. This photo was taken when the coral was in my 46G under T5's. It's now about 8-9" directly under one of the 250W 10k halides in my 90 and the green is intense especially under the actinics.

    I don't have a green tort, otherwise I could add a picture... :)

    I have a Sean Bennett Tort, and it can be a bit finicky for me as well. PE extension does vary, but I've never had it get too angry for any time period longer than a day. It will easily brown if it gets shaded by the birdsnest above it. In fact, I know it's time to trim the birdsnest when the tort starts to lose color.

    It's not nearly as sensitive as some acros, like Horrida for instance, which RTN'd on me last time I raised my Alk 1.5 over a 4 day stretch... :confused:

    I have a shawn bennett yellow tort also! its quite an interesting piece... very thick too :)

    Mine's not yellow, it's just the "plain" variety. ;D

    Several reefers have it around here, but I've never seen it available elsewhere.

    A beautiful piece with great PE none the less.

    You have quite the collection of sps, looking forward to the image.
