I noticed yesterday that my coral beauty has white spots all over. He eats fine. Still swims all over the place. Doesn't act sick in any way. None of my other fish have the spots. It also looks like there are small white specks floating around in the tank. My temp swings from 76 to 78 on average.

How long have you had the fish?
Have you checked your water chemistry?
Is another fish bullying the Angel?
What are you feeding the Angel?
    Any new introductions?

I've had him about 7 months. Water chemistry is good. He's actually the bully of the tank. None of the other fish mess with him. I feed him brine and mysis shrimp. Only new fish are two green chromis about a month ago.

Definitely start feeding the fish some veggies/Sea Weed and marine sponge. Google Marine Angel Fish Foods. I would add some Selcon as well.

Angels need more than Brine and Mysis to keep them healthy, resistant to disease and to live a long life.

There is a reason the fish is symptomatic, since you ruled out aggression and water quality I would consider nutrition. Avoid overcrowding if that is an issue.

I have a petsmart close by that I can go to. They have a few different seaweed type foods. Thanks.

You can buy "nori" from most seafood sections in your local grocer, look in the asian cuisine area.

Ok. I'll check tomorrow. Do you think better nutrition will take care of it ? The fish is acting the same as always but defentially covered in white spots. They show up pretty good on a coral beauty. None of the other fish have the spots. My tank may be a little overcrowded. I have 2 clowns, the coral beauty, royal gramma , fire fish, pajama cardinal and the two chromis.

Well, you never mentioned what size of tank you have. IMO, if you keep the overall health of your fish up, the less they will succumb to diseases and parasites. I've also always kept a good cleaner shrimp in my tank. Not trying to say that buying one now will solve your issue, but they are good for preventative maintenance. I inadvertently introduced a fish into my tank with Ich present (yes, you can point and laugh), but well after, none of my other fish got the parasite. That's my experience. Keep them healthy where and when you can. Just like you and me.

It's a 55 gallon. My fish have always been healthy. Never an issue with any of them until two days ago. The coral beauty acts the same as it always has. Just has white spots on it. I'm getting some better food more suited for an angel tomorrow and hopefully maybe that will boost the immune system up. So far the angel is the only fish that has the spots. Guess we will see what happens.
