Its my second perc. clown fish. Its been in for about five minutes now and there Fighting pretty aggresivly. Should i do something?

Ive read different things saying that they do that to assert who turns female?

How big are they?If they have already turned female they cannot change back to male. Are they actually biting each other or just posturing?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If your older clown has been alone, chances are good it's a female, you can just assume so if you've kept it alone for more than 3 months.
If you just added another female, it's not going to work. Once a female always a female.

Turn off the lights and move some rock around, if you start to see one clown with frayed fins, or hiding in the corner or breath hard at the surface you need to remove on or the other.

What type of clowns are these?

Sometimes they work it out, but one needs to start the submissive shake and shiver, the smaller one probably. If there is a lot of biting, well that is not a good sign at all.

Ok so they seem to be mellowing out now, staying away from eachother.. The submissive shake and shiver looks as it sounds?
