    dim the lights...

where is the DJ for slow music? lol

a separate tank should work, many people i know have moved their clowns to a separate tank just to breed their clowns.

I thought you were suppose to go total blackout of the tank at lights out and then a half hour to 45 mins later you shine a flashlight to see if the babies swim to it. ? anyways gl

I've hatched mine without wrapping the tank in a black trash bag. But ya, the tank lights need to be completely off and turn off all lights and tvs in the tank room. Also turn off all pumps. Wait 30min to an hour and check with a flash light. You can't missem so if you don't see them right away don't keep looking for a while.

Not very sucessfull on keeping the babies alive for more than 8 days. My clowns lay eggs every month or so. I will try again when my schedule slows down after the holidays.
