I've been seeing a lot of ads from this company - Brightwell Aquatics - lately. Has anyone heard anything about their products or have any experience using them?

Think their bottles look fancy, look at their homepage,

    Brightwell Aquatics

Seems to me that this is a tough area of aquarium supply to get into without established footprint. Fancy labels there to catch eye of new aquarium owners.

Might be good stuff, but who really knows?

I'm not much of a fan of supplements in general anyway. :-/

Wow, was browsing around and found this thread, and I figured I would respond to it, even though it's two years late, for anyone who is still wondering about Brightwell.

I can honestly say that Brightwell is the only brand of supplements I use for my tank now. My SPS, and other corals of course (but my SPS are my babies) have had a growth explosion since I started using their products. They have also colored up very nicely.

I have used their coral amino (can't say enough good about that one), their phytogreen and phytochrome (my corals have responded much better to these two thatn other brands of phyto I have used, and I absolutely love their marine snow. (I swear, I'm going t owalk into the kitchen one day and see a line of SPS corals waiting to chug the bottle down ;)) One drop of that stuff hits the tank, and they practically shove their polyps out "Dinner Time!"

I also have used the micrbacter and it has always helped if for some reason my parameters spike. It's wonderful for cycling tanks.

So there's my two cents. I hope this helps and that others have or will have good experiences with the line.:)

I've been using their stuff for the past year.. Mainly their Part A and B calicum/alk. No complaints on my end.

I hear really good things about their new salt. From what I hear corals/fish can't even tell its synthetic salt. Have yet to try it, I want it though!

I have been using the salt ever since macna, it has been very good, alk has been a small issue but nothing major. Most the params are dead on, no residue, mixes up great, no complaints so far, except my lfs sells it for like 20 bucks more then what i got it at macna for....

I've been using their products for a long time.

I really like their Coral Amino, helped my Zoanthids grow.

Started using the Microbacter7 for about 3 weeks. My SPS is shown improved color and growth. The red algae I've been fighting on my rock is slowly fading away. I usually do not jump a the band wagon, but MB7 works great.
