Well I bought two mandarins afew months back and I've had them in a 55g with an above tank 90g fuge. The tank is 2 years old and loaded with pods.I put them in it alone so I could ween them onto frozen food easier.well I was looking at the tank I thought I saw a group of pods but on closer inspection it was baby mandarins. I have a stash of rotifiers so I started them on a drip though ill need to go buy more today to start a bigger culture.I also put some green water on drip aswell. I also removed the 2 adults and put them in my frag tank.what else would I need to do to raise these guys?

Ps the tank has no filtration only LR sand and chato in the fuge.

Try emailing Mathew Wittenrich, he's bred them. Are the babies orange or yellow?

IIll see what I can do for pics no promises though.

I have a dual return pump set up on this tank with no powerheads so I think they stand atleast half a chance.

Im going to guess the babies are more yellow, I caught the parents using red leds so their color was skewed.what is the difference between yellow and orange?

I've found some resources as to how to raise them and so far im off to a good start* I think*
