hey ive had two occeralus (i cant spell it :-X) clownfish for about a year now and im positive that they paired up because my male would spaz out near the female around 4 months ago and now they sleep and hangout together. now i've spotted this new behavour 3 times today...the female will like peck at the corner of the tank in the sand and start digging a hole slowly. sometimes the male comes in though and waves all of his fins when he's in the small hole and swim up which makes the hole deeper. they already made one hole all the way to the bottem glass (1.5" sandbed). now their starting a new one sometimes but are almost undecided which one to dig more because they go back and forth. are they gonna lay eggs soon?
Thanks so much for the help,
    Jake

+1 They will be orange to start out with. If you have a shrimp, crab or bristle worms they will be gone by morning if the fish don't stay down with them at nite. Mine sleep at the surface. so, after their first clutch, she layed them near the top.
