    Beautiful clams, just curios, what do you consider minimum tank sizes for derasas, squasies, and maximas?

    They all grow pretty slowly, so if you accept the fact that they may have to be rehomed one day, you could do it in just about anything. The biggest factor is that they do suck a lot of calcium, so in smaller systems it can be hard to keep the levels up. with some stability in mind, I would keep in maximas in at least a 30, and derasas and squamosas I wouldn't go below a 75.
