How often do I need to inject them, I have tried many times but everytime they seem to come back worse than before...it seems to kill all but they find a way back

I've found sometimes it's necessary to inject them every few days. Sometimes 3 or 4 applications may even be required to begin with. Then keep a watch out and repeat whenever you see more. One problem is they can hide out in your overflow and other areas that you can't get to and can therefore keep coming back. The key is to knock them back to manageable levels, then keep a sharp eye out. It's tough to ever completely eliminate them, but very easy to control them when the numbers are small. On my old 75, after transferring it to it's new owner, it became completely infested with them, just ever where. Too much for kalk paste alone. We kalked the heck out of it and added 10 peppermint shrimp. It worked quite well and they completely disappeared, however, now months latter, we've seen a few pop up here and there again, but they are small enough numbers, kalk paste controls them easily.

    + peppermint shrimp
i had a problem with 2 rocks, the 1st rock the peppermint cleaned it, but since i was impatient, i microved the 2nd rock, killed everything on it and out it on the sump.:)
in hindsight, shouldve waited for the peppermint to do its job.

+1 to the hiding in overflow

I bought my 24g aquapod off of CL and the guy had a pretty extensive aiptasia problem, so as a result- I had a pretty large aiptasia problem.

I have been fighting them for about a month now and everytime I think I got rid of them, I find more. They hid in crevices, in my overflow, in the hair algae (which I am also battling)...everywhere.

I would suggest getting some aiptasia-X and start killing off all of the ones you can find, especially any that are larger than a dime. Then I would get a peppermint shrimp or a bunch depending on your tank size.

Just DO NOT pull them off the rocks, it will make it even worse

Sorry it took so long to update, but I finally got rid of the problem, boiling water actually worked the best, I can't believe I didn't try that before so simple. However I had two rocks that just wasn't cooperating so I just had to sacrifice those two for the good of my tank. Thanks again for all the suggestions.

I used 1 peppermint and after eating them all he just walks around my tank eating leftover food.

so why are we concerned about the inhumane treatment of the nudibranch but not the anemone? :)

By the way, i am one of the people that are inhumane to the anemones.....but the little bastards have gotten the upper hand to this point. some day i will overcome.

Serious problem here as well , i tried everything under the sun ! Dont use zaptasia !! It is a gel but will bleach any coral it touches , even after the aptasia closes ! I bought a aptasia eating file fish , looks really cool and wierd but so far is slowly getting rid of my problem.
Once they are all gone he has to come out because he will start to pick at other corals as he does now but so far for me this has been the only solution
