Well I feel like a jack wagon. It's a Nuvo 38 gallon aquarium. LIARS! The people I bought it from said it's a 38 gallon bio cube. They didn't really know anything about the tank when we bought it. How silly do I feel.

I understand that the BioCube's often have heating/algae problems. I am very much a noob at the moment, and was suggested this might be an ideal starting tank for me. How have you dealt with the above issues in your BioCube tanks?

I almost got a biocube, I did a lot of research on them. It's a great all in one concept. Water parems will need special attention as do most smaller systems. I'll agree with the others about the lighting, depending on the type of coral you want you'll need to upgrade. Led's are preferable as they wont affect your water temp and since it's so small you should be able to find an affordable option. Ultimately it's ok but you'll probably find yourself aching for a larger system eventually once you run out of real estate. Great for an apartment but if you've got a little more money and space I'd opt for a larger system.
