Great write up! I love wrasses. Just a suggestion though, maybe a minimum tank size for some of the species of wrasse?

Looks like the Mystery Wrasse will be the only one in my 75. Thanks for taking the time to do this!

Thank you Steve, a much appreciated gesture.

    Thanks Cheryl. :)

Thanks. That is a point I considered, however I feel that Live Aquaria is a sufficient existing resource on that front. I elected to only include a bit of info you don't always find about each species.

;D Yup, that's the right take-away. Thank you, my pleasure.

    Thanks Curt!

Couldnt have said it any better. This thread will be my go-to with any questions considering a wrasse.

Thanks to Evolved for your hard work and time.

I actually printed this thread up and will keep it in my truck's glove box so I can take it into the LFS when looking at reef safe wrasses. ;D

Good write up! FYI I recently discovered Tanakas Wrasses are more category 2 reefsafe. All 5 of my sexy shrimp disappeared and it kept biting my Yasha Gobies dorsal fin off! Great looking fish and v interesting to watch darting in and out of the rockwork, but I had to trade him in at my LFS.

Perhaps I just got a "bad" one; I never could get him to eat anything I offered. He was always more interested in picking things off the rocks and terrorising my CUC, (not sure if he actually ate any of them or not, but he was certainly more interested in them than anything I ever fed.)

Anyway, i thought I'd mention it here, might save a sexy shrimp or two! :)
