    Hey reefsparky, this was a great thread for me. I'm planning on plumbing my 40G sump/fuge for my 90G RR tank. I'm interested in knowing if there is anything differant that you would change (today) as far as the plumbing goes? Thanks and great looking tank as well.

    Thanks, Brian. As far as plumbing goes, I've moved on from the dual sided sump and went to a fuge-less simpler sump, that uses a filter sock for mechanical filtration. I like it much better. The socks are simple enough to swap out. I like the simplicity of the sump, and generally never have nitrates.

    That's what I figured, Seano. That's an old post you pulled up, there. :)

    The filter sock is not in place in these photos, but goes on the left where the intake is seen. The return pump is inline, so it's not visible in the photo--it's to the right of the sump.

    Could you post a pic of your display tank? Maybe some up close and some far away to get an idea of the whole setup.
